Bistro Cafe's Downtown location is at 1352 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132, in the Arts & Entertainment District just north of Downtown proper. It's a few blocks from the Adrienne Arsht Center and close to Biscayne Boulevard, which makes it easy to reach without a car and a little tricky to park at on weekends. This guide covers both.

Taking the Metromover (Free)
The Metromover is Miami's free elevated people mover. It hasn't charged a fare since 2002 and runs from about 5 a.m. to midnight every day. For Bistro Cafe, the stop you want is Adrienne Arsht Center station on the Omni Loop, at 1455 Biscayne Boulevard next to the Arsht's Knight Concert Hall. The station was called Omni until 2009, so older maps may still use that name.
From the station, head west a couple of blocks to NE 1st Ave and walk south. Bistro Cafe is in the 1300 block.
- From Brickell or Bayfront Park: ride the Metromover north to Adrienne Arsht Center. No transfer cost, no fare.
- From Metrorail: get off at Government Center, then switch to the Metromover's Omni Loop. Metrorail itself charges a fare; the Metromover leg is free.
- From Brightline: MiamiCentral station sits next to Government Center, where you can board the Metromover and ride north to the Arsht stop.
Parking Near Bistro Cafe
There's no dedicated lot for the cafe, so you're choosing between street parking and nearby garages. The Arsht Center publishes the main options because its patrons use the same streets:
| Option | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Street parking | NE 1st Ave and side streets | Pay with the PayByPhone app or Miami Parking Authority meters. Fills up on weekend late mornings. |
| Arsht lot (P2520) | 1367 NE 1st Ave | The Arsht lists this lot at $30 on performance days. Outside show times, rates are set by the operator, so check the sign. |
| Arsht lot (P2521) | 1550 NE 1st Court | Listed at $15 on performance days, a few blocks north. |
| Omni Garage | 453 NE 15th St | Next to the Metromover station; rates vary. |
Two tips. First, if there's a matinee at the Arsht, nearby lots switch to event pricing, so weekend parking can cost more than you'd expect for a breakfast stop. Second, guests with a valid accessible parking placard can use public street parking for up to four hours at no charge, according to the Arsht's parking page; confirm the rule on the meter or app before you leave the car.
Rideshare and Walking
Rideshare is the easiest way to avoid parking altogether. On Arsht performance days, the Arsht directs its own rideshare traffic to Bayshore Drive between NE 13th and NE 14th Streets, so expect more cars on the surrounding blocks.
If you're staying in Downtown or Edgewater, walking is often faster than finding a space. Biscayne Boulevard is a few short blocks east of the cafe.
Eating Before an Arsht Center Show
Bistro Cafe closes at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. on weekends, so it doesn't work before an evening performance. It does work well before a weekend matinee, which often starts in the early afternoon; check your ticket for the exact time.
- Give yourself 75 to 90 minutes on a weekend. Late morning is the cafe's busiest stretch, and you may wait for a table.
- Arrive before 10 a.m. or after 1:30 p.m. if you want to skip the worst of the line. The weekend brunch guide covers timing in more detail.
- Park once. If you're paying for an Arsht lot anyway, parking there and walking to the cafe saves moving the car.
Visiting the Coral Gables Cafe Instead
Bistro Café's second Miami-area location is at 4155 Laguna St in Coral Gables, one block from the Shops at Merrick Park. It's the better choice if you're coming from Kendall, Pinecrest or South Miami, since it avoids Downtown traffic and parking. The Downtown vs. Coral Gables guide compares the two.
